Quilts are finished using my Janome long arm quilting machine.
Backing should be a minimum of 10" wider and 10" longer the quilt top for best results and should be cotton or non-stretchy fabric. Backing can be included with quilt top when shipped to me or I am happy to find a suitable, mutually agreeable backing to complement your quilt.
Batting can be cotton or polyester depending upon preference.
Select a stitch design from my stitch design gallery and the quilt is stitched.
The current Long Arm Quilting Charge is $.015 per square inch of quilt, if client supplies backing and batting; $.02 per square inch if client supplies either the batting or backing but not both, and $.025 per square inch if I supply both batting and backing. This includes using one of the stitches within the Black Cat's Stitches Gallery or a similar stitch.
The quilt can also be squared and edged with a professional, mitered edging/border before being shipped back to you. This charge ranges from $30.00 to $50.00 depending upon size of quilt.
